My TweetStats
April 5th, 2008 | by Brad King |As the Twitter application continues to gain traction with the digerati, there are scads of new apps meant to help users track their use and connections.
Social networks, after all, aren’t very useful if you can’t track what your friends are doing — and how important you are in the network. As I told an ex, you can’t be egomaniacal without also being egocentric.
Welcome to the new world order of social media.
My friend Elizabeth sent me this new Twitter application, TwitterStats, which breaks down your Tweets month by month, day by day, hour by hour, platform and friends sending you messages.
It turns out my old boss Jason Pontin and I exchange the most @ messages, which are public comments directed at one person. ElizabethN comes in second, she a member of my now defunct writing group, and third is KristaNeher, a local social media type.
But really, you can check out my stats on your own — or follow your own trail.
